Abstract:
The subject of this research were the features of an employeer`s motivational sphere in ensuring labor safety. With collaboration of a group — 117 volunteer students, — the reliability of Ehler′s questionnaire was tested, to diagnose motivation for avoiding failure. It was recommended, that, to increase the results reliability while diagnosing the motivational sphere, such questionnaire including factor of social desirability should be supplemented with diagnostic techniques of other types, primarily of projective techniques. In this connection, variant of a short diagnostic interview with the "analysis of meta-programs" (according to S. Ivanova) deserves our attention. An indicator of the motivation for avoiding failure here was the frequency of negations in speech of the subject. Such characteristics of the former or prospective place of work, as "non-conflict collective", "no salary delays", "work without jobs" and others, with a small number of positive statements, indicate that the person is more focused on avoiding failure than on achieving success.
