The work is devoted to IHA and PPS in young and middle-aged women with a conditionally normal state of mental health. Methods: interview, questionnaire, standardized diagnostics, experimental method using functional tests, statistical processing of the results: Fisher`s test, binomial m test, Spearman`s correlation coefficient. Conclusions: 1. The vast majority of cases involve left-hemisphere asymmetry; 2. In mature women, the PLO contains almost exclusively right-hemisphere motor components, while the sensory components contain a few left-hemisphere components; 3. Mature women with left-hemisphere asymmetry differ from young women in having a significantly higher number of pronounced PLOs; 4. The hypothesis that mature women with left-hemisphere asymmetry have a higher prevalence of DEP, ANX, and SOM in their PLOs has not been confirmed. 5. Regardless of age, in women with a conditionally normal mental health state, an increase in the degree of left hemisphere dominance is associated with a decrease in the severity of O-C, DEP, ANX, PSY, and INT. In mature individuals, the same pattern is observed for HOS and PAR. The practical significance of this work lies in its use by professionals in various fields, including clinical psychologists, doctors, educators, forensic experts, and others.

There are not enough studies proving the effectiveness of existential (non-medical) psychotherapy and revealing the motivation for choosing this approach to call the existential approach evidence-based. The study involved 48 people who received long-term existential psychotherapy. In the process of psychotherapy, such indicators as existential fulfillment, harmonization of self-esteem and dynamics of experiences of existential realities were measured. The study of motivation features revealed that existential psychotherapy is mainly chosen by young adults with higher education and a high level of reflection. Existential psychotherapy has proven to be a highly effective approach in dealing with existential requests.

The final qualifying work «Psychopathological manifestations in young men and women with a conditionally normative state of mental health» examines pre‑clinical disorders in youth without established diagnoses. A theoretical analysis of the criteria for normality and pathology, the biopsychosocial approach, and psychopathological diathesis was conducted. Gender differences were found: young women have significantly higher rates of somatization, while men have higher rates of hostility. A relationship between difficulties in describing feelings (alexithymia) and the depression was confirmed. An inverse relationship was found between the level of anxiety and a positive attitude towards oneself, which turned out to be more significant than the relationship with the family context. In addition, a new significant correlation was identified: a negative attitude towards superiors is associated with the overall level of psychological distress.
