To make oneself ready for search it is necessary to enter information into all or some form fields (the left side of the window "Search").

In the field "Search in text" the elements of lexical request for search are introduced – search for a word or a word combination that may appear in the text of the document to be found. The field "Search in description" takes the same procedure with the only difference that the introduced words are supposed to be looked for not in the text, but in the description of the text.

In the field "Author" comma separated list of authors to be found is entered. Each following author extends search domain.

In the field "Year of publication" the precise year (e.g. "1999") or the time period (e.g. "2000-2005") is entered. It is possible to enter several precise years or time periods separated by commas (e.g., "1999, 2001-2004, 1985")
