Belik. [Norm and pathology in conditions of different cultures]

Abstract:
Despite overcoming the idea of unhealthy nature of some cultures and its member’s inferiority, drawing line between cultural norm and objective pathology is still problematic. Article envisages a problem of context, norm and pathology is presented in, highlights the importance of successful ethnoculturation and constructing positive ethnical identity for maintaining psychically healthy. Author labors the point of trance and religious experience, describes European psychiatry attitude towards it.
