Abstract:
The problem of adequate mentality-oriented psychotherapy is discussed here. Psychological assistance to population increasingly now requires some adjustment. A positive adequate response to psychotherapy implies real knowledge of this person mentality, his/her basic values, that underlie his/her cultural and ethno-psychological status. On the other hand, it is necessary to understand the essence of thin psychological problem, which is rooted in depths of any «gap » of two «I »: superficial and deep spiritual ones. On the example of L. Tolstoy`s story «The Kreutzer Sonata», the method of «Russian catharsis» is revealed, as special confessional form of communication, that does not tolerate frameworks and techniques of psychotechnics, and being based only on a voluntary, non-commercial contact between the narrator and the interlocutor and inherent in the whole of Russian spiritual culture. The content of this story, its emotional richness, accompanied by sharp dialogic remarks, indicate the psychological need for narrator of just, such a cathartic discharge, with helping of concrete person, who is ready to accept his problem and his itself.
