Abstract:
Among the major contemporary issues affecting the situation with disabled persons — is, continuing in modern society, the attitude towards them as both physically and psychologically "other" people. So, there was a need for gradual transition from existing paradigm of social protection and rehabilitation of disabled persons to theoretical, methodological and technological social policy equipment, which would be implemented into society with a new type of relationship to "persons with disabilities", — here is, when disability environment is regarded as a specific sphere of socialization and self-realization, as factor of social and cultural integration persons with disabilities while social development. One of the most promising directions in this perspective seems to be a socio-cultural approach to rehabilitation and integration into society of persons with disabilities, in general and children – disabled, in particular.
