Abstract:
The Textbook presents theoretical and applied aspects of non-verbal human behavior. In first chapter author analyzes the theoretical approaches to non-verbal behavior and communication, consider the current researchers of social- perceptual capabilities of persons with intellectual disabilities, examines the role of visual communication in interpersonal interactions. Second chapter introduces the concept of building researchers of social- perceptual processes in children and adolescents with developmental problems. Here are discussed the results of author's study, which revealed the specifics of identification of eyes expressions in adolescents with intellectual disabilities. This material may be useful for students majoring "Oligophrenopedagogics" and "Special psychology".
