Abstract:
In psychiatry, the adequacy of dialogue with patient means patient importance, as subject of clinical discourse, as far as an objective attitude to his/her complaints. A linguistic analysis of functioning of single words and word-combinations (markers of expectation), orally and through a questionnaire (MOI), was done here. The fact, that in psychiatric ankets (named MOI) "the same words" are usially used by patients in oral conversation — is the real illusion. One word from MOI combines inside of themselve several functional areas: professional description of disease, general linguistic and cultural description of such disease, a subjective description of pathological reality. This functional multi-directionality is used by MOI, so to speak with patient "in one language", but — at the same time — violating real institutional interests of discourse participants. The texts of psychiatric MOI are now impenetrable, insensitive to patient's interests, not allowing him/her to create own utterance. The word usage in text of psychiatric MOI, contradicts the main goal of the clinical discourse — to decipher the incoming clinical signs.
