Abstract:
The article analyzes the main approaches to the study of gender-role development of a child: the theory of social learning, cognitive-genetic theory, the influence of parents. It is concluded that in the gender-role development of a child, the boundaries between his cognitive and social spheres disappear. Hence, there is a special need to study the child as an integral person in his relationship with the surrounding microenvironment.
