Abstract:
[Here are identified problems in the structure of values and motivation of students of fire service educational system. The key importance of the formation of a special pattern of qualities is shown – it include internality, achievement motivation, adequacy and rationality of risk taking, reflexivity and adequacy of self-perception of a value conflict. The presence of disharmony and disintegration in personal sphere is typical for 90% of subjects, and it is associated not only with a risky and dangerous profession, but also with the period of formation in the profession. The propensity to take risks fluctuates in the region of medium and high values, which is associated with both the short experience of the subjects and the predominance of a young age. A destructive tendency to decrease in caution and manifestation of risky behavior in the presence of an internal value conflict was revealed. The attention of psychologists and educators should be drawn to the sphere of values and attitudes of attainability, which will help to form an adequate level of risk readiness. The solvability of tension on the scale of attainable value and the simultaneous absence of an internal vacuum seems to be the most optimal state of a professional in conditions of uncertainty and risk.]
