Karabin. [Psychodiagnostic foundations of monitoring the value-motivational sphere among cadets in training center of Federal fire service]

Abstract:
[The use of methods that measure the propensity to take risks, to achieve and avoid, to measure the internal value conflict, is useful in conjunction with the analysis of links between the structure of value conflict and motivation, the ability to predict the propensity to take risks and with the formation of adequate professional behavior. In two groups of students: the first - students under the professional training program for the profession 16781 "Firefighter"; the second - special initial training for middle-ranking officials admitted to the Federal fire service at Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations from other organizations after graduating from institutions of higher and secondary vocational education - a positive correlation was found between the index of the difference between value and availability and the risk appetite scale (r = 0.567 ) of the average level of significance p <0.02. Significant influences of the factor of belonging to a professional group ("fighter" or "commanding staff") were not revealed, which is associated with the debut of representatives of both groups in the profession, with differences in the degree of advancement in the newcomer category (naive beginner or adapted, or competent beginner) and with young age.]
