Abstract:
The special unit`s professional activity of Emergency Situations Ministry, rescuers and firefighters in their daily practice, is related to the impact on specialists of a large number of stressors, and so — it belongs to the category of extreme ones. This training manual is developed in accordance with current present requirements and the specifics of professional activity to the level of psychological training, to the formation of psychological resistance to stressful situations, to the need to interact in a team of co-workers, to make decisions and assume responsibility for their execution of graduates of higher educational institutions of Russian Emergency Situations Ministry. Therefore, along with requirements of a high level of professional knowledge, skills, — high demands are made on level of psychological training of specialists in these professions. The manual is intended for students studying in specialty «State and municipal management» and passing specializations «Management in emergency situations» and «Organizational and economic psychology in emergency situations», for students-rescuers of Voluntary student rescue team «DSO-SPAS», rescuers of Fire-rescue and search and rescue squads, for psychologists of the Centers for Emergency Psychological Aid.
