Abstract:
Three aspects of the problem study of motivation through educational and professional students activity are considered here. The first is motivation understanding for learning itself (cognitive and social motives). The second is diagnostic programs. The third is the conditions for the motivation forming. The highest levels in the development of motivation for educational and professional activities among students can be considered as the motives of professional self-education and the motives of professional cooperation. The study of the motivation of educational and professional activities of students becomes more effective when applying the formative and differentiated approaches.
