The paper analyzes the traditional system of education and concludes that it is necessary to transition to the concept of continuous education. This concept implies continuous training of a specialist, which leads to the emergence of the market of educational services. The changes that occur in the economy and society imply changes in the field of education. The author emphasizes the role of humanitarian knowledge in the process of human socialization. This approach requires the efforts of all participants of the educational process, which complicates its realization.
