Abstract:
The article shows the role of psychology in improving the modern training process. Described how psychology can make a significant contribution to improving the effectiveness and quality of training athletes. Separately described the research in the field of pedagogical psychology. It is shown that the formation of consciousness of the athlete is largely determined by his worldview, moral ideals, value orientation and motivation of behavior. Generalizing this material it can be noted that these features also determine all forms of human activity. Special attention is paid to the concept of systematic stage-by-stage formation of P.Y. Galperin. The application of this concept has great prospects for improving the educational process in sport.
