Bekasova, Busarova. [The impact of learning a foreign language on the formation of personal characteristics]

Abstract:
The survey concerning the influence of the longtime learning of a foreign language on the personality was carried out. About 399 students of the faculty of foreign languages of Moscow State Pedagogical University who speak Russian as their native language took part in this research. It is discovered that groups of future specialists in the German, French and Spanish languages differ in a range of personal factors chosen out of 16 PF questionnaire. All these factors are determined predominantly in a cultural way.
