Abstract:
The author considers the results of psychological research of the process of integral formation of creative activity of professionals in the course of their education at the university. The purpose of the study is formulated as revealing the peculiarities of architectural design in terms of its form, as well as the conditions and principles of creativity formation during university education. The problem of the research is described as a search for foundations from the position of methodology of the design process as a creative activity. The assumption is made that the design activity of the direction not only on modeling, but also on creation, as well as that professional creativity is a process of development of activity, which leads to a change of attitudes about it. The assumption that the process of creativity formation should become the process of architects` consciousness formation was also tested separately. As a result of the study it was shown that models have duality: on the one hand, they reflect reality, and on the other hand, they embody the principle of construction. Of particular importance in the process of becoming a professional is the mechanism of design creativity, as well as modeling as an activity. It is emphasized that it is necessary to create psychological opportunities for the development of professional activity, which can grow into the formation of the ability to transform the system of activity as a whole.
