Abstract:
This book presents a theoretically and experimentally substantiated system of diagnostic techniques, developed by the author on the basis of various types of thought problems. These methodologies were designed in order to assess the child readiness for teaching in primary school, to monitor development of thinking in lower grades, to determine level of readiness for training in a secondary school, in conditions of individual and group work with children 6-10 aging. Here were proposed scientifically substantiated qualitative and quantitative criteria for assessing mental development, associated with formation children cognitive actions across generalized way of problem solving. The author is a psychologist, Ph.D., for many years studying children thinking; he published a series of books on development and diagnosis of intellectual abilities. The book is addressed to psychologists, primary school teachers, students of pedagogical and psychological faculties in colleges, colleges and universities, students of Institutes for Teacher Improvement and faculties of professional development.
