Abstract:
The psychological aspect of relationships between the concepts of «speech — speech activity» is analyzed here. Representing various activities, speaking and listening ones are united by subject and speech commonality, as way of forming and articulating any thought through language. Speaking, by it`s nature, — is an independent, outwardly expressed activity in the sphere of people communicative and social activity. Listening, or semantic perception of speech, — is an auxiliary type of individual mental activity. Unlike speaking, it′s motivationally targeted side is caused by the external connection of communications. Therefore, hearing is really secondary in communication. Its goal — the disclosure of semantic links in hearded speech message. Its analytical-synthetic part forms the basis of semantic speech perception and includes the main executive part — decision making. Semantic perception is not planned and is not structured by consciousness. The content of the hearing process is defined externally. All this makes it possible to consider listening to speech, as the specific perceptual-thought-mnemonic activity.
