Abstract:
On an array of constructs (schools, gymnasiums, orphanages), methods for testing the home environment have been developed. A diagnostic toolkit for assessing the home environment has been prepared. The models show the distribution of indicators of assessments of a real house. For example, for an orphanage it is resourcefulness and ergonomics, for a rural school it is home environment management, resourcefulness, ergonomics. The lowest indicators in the studied groups were obtained on the scale of alienation of the home environment. The image of the ideal home in all groups includes stability and pragmatism. The friendliness of home environment is positively associated with the positivity of adolescents, and the image of a real home is more significant than an ideal home. A scale of values of the characteristics of a real home for adolescents is given. The established relationships of indicators are a socially specific resource for the positive life of adolescents. The predictors of high school students' positivity (plasticity, stability, self-presentation) and anti-predictors among rural schoolchildren (plasticity and resourcefulness) are identified. Among ordinary schoolchildren and orphanage pupils, only one anti-predictor of the home environment was singled out: its alienation, which makes them vulnerable in the event of everyday problems.
