Abstract:
The structural-content characteristics and manifestations of the social identity of high school students in conditions of specialized education have been studied here. A theoretical and methodological analysis of the main scientific ideas about the concept and structure of social identity has been carried out too. An empirical study of the characteristics of social identity in groups with different educational profiles was carried out. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that: 1) methods for studying the social identity of a teenager were selected and developed, which can be used by psychologists of educational institutions in experimental, diagnostic and consulting work with older students; 2) the results obtained can be used in the system of specialized education in the development of recommendations for teachers, psychologists, parents; 3) the obtained material can be useful in the preparation of programs for socio-psychological training, training for personal growth in terms of solving identification problems in adolescence.
