Abstract:
The analysis of basic scientific ideas about the concept and structure of social identity is given here in combination with empirical evidence-based material on the characteristics of social identity among high school students of various profiles of education. Some working hypotheses about the manifestation of social identity through individual-personal, socio-psychological characteristics and value-semantic orientation of the individual have been put forward. Secondly, the profile of education and its orientation determine the differences (polarization) in the structural and content characteristics of the social identity of high school students, shifting it either towards uniqueness or towards universality. Finally, students in specialized classes are characterized by a high level of development of social identity, due to the severity of a number of parameters. Conclusions are drawn about the severity of the parameters of the structure of social identity among students of specialized classes and examples of differences in physics, mathematics and humanitarian classes are given, as well as comparative values of the parameters of gender-role features, general, family and school reference.
