Abstract:
Empirical research was devoted to fears, as main aspect of the emotional sphere among older preschoolers. The gender fears structure in 5–7 ages (social, mental, school, magic, spatial, vital), has been studied here. It has been established, that negative types of family upbringing (such as confrontation, absence or deficiency of parental empathy and tactile contact, dictates, inconsistency and others) are strong accompanied by: low parental emotional closeness; high anxiety level; low parental ability for understanding and mitigating of emotional child′ states; low level of unconditional acceptance; inability to provide emotional support for child. Children of 5–6 and 6–7 ages, with high levels of fears, perceive their family situation differently, unlike peers with a normal level of fear. At 5-6 age, a high level of fear is reflected in the perception of own family environment as emotionally unfavorable, disturbing, and conflicting. At age of 6–7 years, a feeling of inferiority in own family is added. A program of psychological correction of parent-child relationships for children with fears has been developed.
