Abstract:
The main hypothesis of the work is that the perception of conflict situations is related to the age and status of the child in the group. The study developed a new methodology — “Conflicting situations”, which allows us to identify the peculiarities of argumentation and conflict resolution strategies in schoolchildren. The work analyses the levels of understanding of contradictions, the structure of situations and the dynamics of their perception, as well as the role of status in the group. The results show that with age pupils better recognise contradictions and use more constructive approaches to their resolution, with children with high status demonstrating greater activity and initiative. The work contributes to the development of methods of psychological support for students and improvement of the socio-psychological climate in the school.
