Gavrilova. [Features of the study of the emotional component of the creative process in modern experimental psychology]

Abstract:
The article introduces there view of up-to-date research works concerning the study of the ways in which emotions affect the efficiency of solving creative tasks. The specificity of research approaches is discussed as depending on particular ways of registration of the subject's emotional states. In general, it is possible to distinguish three groups of techniques used in present day psychology to diagnose the emotional states: self-reports, registration of behavioral reactions, estimations of various indices of emotional states. The article describes in details these groups of techniques from the point of view of their perspectives to be used in study of the role which emotions play in creative task solving.
