Kochetova. [New direction in psychology "Traffic Psychology": foreign experience, problems and development prospects]

Abstract:
In the last few years the so-called "Traffic psychology" became a very popular object of research among foreign scientists. Economical and social development of the modern world and substantial affect of technological devices on human behavior, enhanced interest to the problem of subjects' interaction in societal and "hand-made" environment. One of the subject matters connected with the study of this interaction is a special interest to the problems of road and traffic environment of a contemporary megapolis. When analyzing the studies of this kind it is necessary to emphasize that at present the problem of "Traffic psychology" involves a big variety of separate issues and each of them needs special examination. The research of some aspects of "Traffic psychology" is being carried out since 1980's. The present review contains only several research models in this field which were thoroughly highlighted in a specialized international journal "Traffic psychology".
