Abstract:
The article provides a general overview of international approaches to evaluation and communication development in children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). It describes the radicals of disruption of communications in children with ASD. The article describes several techniques used in development of communication of children with ASD and the main approaches they are based on: Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) by Lori Frost и Andrew Bondy; Iconic-Ideographic communication (blisssymbolics, leb-system); sign language system; the program of applied verbal behavior (AVP); facilitating communication method (FC) and others. The article gives the differences of intervention programs applied in national and foreign schools. It also describes the basic conditions for the development of communication in children with ASD from the point of view of cultural-historical approach which seems to be effective in providing involvement of children with ASD into educational process.
