Kochergina. [Relationship of emotional responsiveness to music with the development of intellectual abilities and creativity in children of primary school age]

Abstract:
The paper presents an empirical study on the relation of emotional responsiveness to music for children of primary school age with the development of intellectual abilities, creativity and emotional intelligence. We describe an original videotest developed for the diagnosis of emotional responsiveness to music. It is shown that emotional responsiveness to music is associated with the development of both intellectual and emotional characteristics of primary school children. Intellectually gifted children higher than their peers on indicators of emotional responsiveness, creativity and emotional intelligence.
