Patients tending to hide and deny their status and symptoms often obstruct eating disorders studies. The article considers basic problems connected to rising level of eating disorders in America, Europe and developing world. Short review on risk factors is presented. Author emphasis a role of public and socio cultural standard idealizing low weight and diets for women.
