Smirnova, Khokhlacheva. [Features of the relationship of parents to the child with difficulties in communication]

Abstract:
An experimental study of parents' attitude to senior preschool children with different styles of communication with peers is described. The principal research method was comparative analysis of parental attitudes in mothers of two groups of preschoolers: those with and without communication problems. The findings show that the first group of mothers display an object-oriented attitude: They tend to treat the child as an object of instruction and upbringing. Mothers of the second group are more orientated towards the personality in the child.
