Zavershneva. [The Ideas about the semantic field in the theory of dynamic semantic systems by L.Vygotsky]

Abstract:
[L. Vygotsky`s ideas about the semantic field are considered here in the context of his polemics with V. Koehler, K. Koffka, and K. Levin. The concept of a semantic field , as a semantic plan of generalization, was discussed on the basis of research conducted by the scientific group of L. Vygotsky while 1932–1935, and this concept was compared with other categories of cultural-historical psychology (measure of commonality of concepts, subject relatedness, meaning). The genesis of the semantic field is schematically described here, the connections between the processes of its development and decay are shown, and its role in development of free meaningful action is indicated here too.]
