Dmitriyeva. [Home environment and psychologicalwell-being of adolescents]

Abstract:
The paper considers the problem of home environment as important source of psychological well-being. The authors propose the results of empirical study with presenting the author`s technique «Personal relevancy of the home environment» on a sample of Russian adolescents in different social situations of development. It is shown that there is a positive interrelation between the home friendliness and the level of psychological well-being of adolescents. The model of the home environment is analyzed depending on the social situation of development. The authors postulate the high significance of the results and the need for further development of diagnostic tools for a friendly environment to find new technologies to maintain psychological well-being.
