Abstract:
The article introduces the review of several publications collected in a thematic issue of the journal New Ideas in Psychology (2011) devoted to the problem of egocentrism in studies by Piaget and other scholars. The article discloses the efforts of some writers to estimate the perspective of investigating egocentrism in context of certain methodological paradigms (Wittgenstein, Mead, Elkind, Gibbs) and with consideration of some empirical data.
