Abstract:
The review regards the link between indices of national intellect and a number of socio-economic, demographic and other indices (average income, life expectancy and so on). These interrelations are analyzed at different population levels: population of the country, population of a region inside the country and so on. For the majority of the reviewed indices average and high levels of correlation with national intellect are typical. In some studies there is evidence for cause and effect character of these correlations.
