Abstract:
The safety of children in an educational environment is one of the main concerns of today`s parents, teachers, educators, psychologists, educational authorities, and the state as a whole. Schools are protected from external threats with the help of guards, turnstiles, metal detectors and sometimes resemble an impregnable fortress. But danger can also arise inside the school in the form of aggression, violence, and destructive behavior, which are manifested by children and adolescents themselves. In recent years, new forms of aggressive behavior have emerged, such as harassment in virtual space, or cyberbullying. The cases of attacks on schools and mass violence by students have become an extreme expression of aggression and brutality. Aggression in the educational environment has been attracting the attention of domestic and foreign specialists for a long time, who are trying to understand its causes and find means of prevention. The thematic issue of the journal "Modern Foreign Psychology" is devoted to these problems.
