Abstract:
We studied the interaction between mother and child, born prematurely, as aspect of parent-child relationship′s problem. The study involved socio-demographically homogeneous dyads «mother-child» of infant age (at the time of the study) 11—37 months, mother age of 23—40 years. The control group consisted of dyads with normal full-term children. It was shown, that prematurely born children show more negative emotions in game interactions, compared to full-term ones. Additionally, mothers of premature infants later identified the first stirring of their fetus and were more likely to experience negative emotions from first contact with child. Mothers of premature infants less support, praise, establish partnerships and increasingly regulated activity of their child. They are less likely to play with child and rarely reflect his/her intonation manifestations. Only among them, mothers of premature, there are group of women, never comments on baby game activity, and group of women, condemning child at all.
