Ermolayeva. [Professional communication with mothers of children with autism spectrum disorders in form of traditional Russian tea-party]

Abstract:
Author implement the approbation of mutual activities in Russian traditions, as claimed informal method of psycho assistance for families with problem children. Mothers, having children with deviant course of mental development — ASD, — deliberately seek some professional psychological help and support. Here, a new method for such aid was proposed, namely the involvement of mothers, with constant accompanied by a professional psychologist, in correctional work with their children by means of Russian folklore during tea-parties. Communicative processes with psychologist and with each other in the same time in form of traditional Russian tea-parties allows mothers of children with autism spectrum disorders not only to discuss personal problems and experiences, but to get some psychological relief. The formation of necessary confidence level was shown experimentally for the success of counseling mothers to a specialist.
