Abstract:
The set of conditions for effective implementation of culture-congruity principle was studied on the example of social-educational experience for upbringing of moral behavior norms among adolescents 16—18 ages in an educational institution. An implementation model for culture-congruity principle, applied to the development of moral behavioral norms among adolescents, and criteria for evaluation of its effectiveness in education, are discussed here. Several problems are analysed: increasing competencies of teachers and parents, creating a multi-ethnic environment in educational institutions, interaction with families, role of regional particularities and ethno-cultural trends. Formed moral norms were chosen: collectivism, self-criticism, honesty, independence, integrity, justice. Ways of tolerant behavior formation in childhood and adolescence, including psychological support, correction and prevention of intolerant behavior, are proposed.
