Abstract:
Presented work compares peculiarities of values between a group of convicted men, adapting in prison and those, who already finished half of their term. Both are not satisfied with their life situation and search for the life meaning in memories of the past or plans for the future. Most of respondents could be characterized as fatalists. They find it difficult to make decisions and search for the best option in a problem situation. Value of family, relationships, new professional skills development and other are revised and compared.
