Abstract:
The working hypothesis was checked meaning that that the social and psychological features of professional student′s self-determination depend on educational level and profile, as well as student position in status hierarchy of training group. Differences in the level of received education were found between lyceum and college students on four statuses of professional identity. It was shown that professional identity is more related to the level of the education than with its profile. The position taken by student in the status hierarchy of group was linked to the level of professional identity and of self-determination among other parameters of professional (career orientation and professional motivation). Professional self-determination has its own specifics, depending on the level and profile of received education.
