Karmovskiy. [The psychoprevention of negative emotional status among police officers in dangerous professional situations]

Abstract:
The special program of psychological training on skills of self-control and overcoming negative emotional states in dangerous situations of professional activity was created here. Special psychological help aimed at reducing tendency to experience negative emotions and improving reliability of action. Tasks of urgent psychological care include prevention of acute stress and panic reactions, psychogenic neuro-psychiatry violations; increasing adaptive capacity; psychotherapy emerged boundary psychological disorders. The aim of rehabilitational psychological help is removing of psychological trauma, associated with wounds, injuries, and so far of effects, resulting from the experienced danger and negative emotional states ones. Methods of crisis intervention and debriefing, being used in rehabilitation and psychological practice, are discuused.
