Leonova. [Psychological factors of anxiety in primary school age in children with high intellectual abilities (in the context of child-parent relationships): Abstract of the master's thesis]

Abstract:
Author examined the causes of anxiety among primary school age children with high levels of intellectual features associated with the style of family nurture. It was shown that high anxiety was obtained among children with non-standard creative thinking. Particularly it was pronounced interpersonal and academic anxiety. Confidence level of gifted children , often turns into self-confidence, could seriously and adversely affect their further development. For the gifted children′s anxiety, stresses and fears prevention and correction, comprehensive measures are need. There are: an early diagnosis of personality development, taking into account of ageing and individual characteristics and capabilities, and constant work with teachers, psychologists and parents of gifted children.
