Abstract:
The connections were studied between management style in public and commercial organizations and their corporate culture. Author selected theoretical, institutional and empirical methods to identify existing type of management in the company and types of organizational culture and subculture, and studied three Russian institutions — school "Russian language for foreigners" (organizational culture of open-synchronous type and liberal management style), a non-profit school of "Aeroflot" ("open" paradigm), methodological department of "Aeroflot" Department service on board ("closed" paradigm with excessive desire for an «open» style of management and decision-making). Collegiate style was discusses as the best one. It was emphasized, that the collective psychological interaction is twofold in nature. It can mobilize potential power and distinctive ability, increase or decrease labor activity, form positive and negative personality traits.
