Paper is dedicated to socio psychological analysis of young people personal features bounded with anime fancy. Main characteristic raised in the study is escapism, explicitly described in theoretical part of the study. Anime phenomena is analyzed from the standpoint of social psychology and is considered as formulaic art. Practical part of research includes data analysis and interpretation, obtained during empirical research, and practical recommendations.
