Ryabaya. [Features of child"s personality formation in a single-parent family with dominance of maternal educational model]

Abstract:
The work hypothesis was tested: in an incomplete (single-parent) family the formation of school age-child personality characteristics is determined by maternal model of education. It was shown that child position within interpersonal relationships with his/her mother due from his emotional component experience in child-parent relationships. So, positive mother's attitude to her parenting contributes to development of children's self-efficacy and cognitive sphere, behavior flexibility, overall positive features. In situation of the absence of mother′s clear position and her incomplete awareness of parental responsibilities, children are not prepared their emotional needs and they are not always able to self-realisation, have problems in communication and medium-sized cognitive parameters. The whole lack of attachment to child and of parenting awareness leads to fatal child cognitive passivity, suspiciousness, problems of socialization.
