Abstract:
The article discusses such phenomena and concepts as "microgenesis of the visual image", "functional model", "phylogeny and early ontogenesis", "the fifth quasi-dimension", as well as the last unfinished work of A. N. Leontyev "Image of the World". The ideas put forward in Aleksei Nikolaevich`s latest work go beyond the scope of psychological research proper. The five highlighted dimensions describe not only the image, but also the world. Reality itself is interpreted from a humanistic perspective — as a meaningful world of people.
