Abstract:
The work is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of resilience in parents raising children with disabilities (HIA). The theoretical significance is due to the insufficient development of this problem in the specific context of families with children with HIA, which complicates the understanding of the mechanisms of formation and manifestation of resilience. Practical relevance is emphasized by the need to develop effective support mechanisms for parents facing numerous emotional and social difficulties.The results confirmed the hypotheses and led to conclusions that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between resilience and stress resistance in parents raising a child with HIA, as well as a statistically significant negative relationship between resilience components (involvement, risk acceptance) and subjective ill-being.
