Abstract:
The book is dedicated to the works and professional biography of Professor Jan van Dyck, an outstanding Dutch researcher and organizer of education for deaf-blind children and children with severe multiple developmental disorders. Van Dyck`s diagnostic and pedagogical methods are widely used throughout the world. Many of the works presented in this book are published in Russian for the first time. The book is addressed to teachers and other professionals, as well as parents of deaf-blind children, children with visual impairments and multiple developmental disorders. The publication was prepared on the initiative and at the expense of the Foundation for the Support of the Deaf and Blind "Connection", the resource center "Yaseneva Polyana".
