[This monograph is devoted to description and studying of socio-psychological characteristics of an average student. This proceedings defines the concept of “any member`s average status of any group", and reveals the essential characteristics associated with the "average" position of individual within intra-group informal status row. On the basis of a full-scale empirical study, carried out in different types of modern educational institutions, the position of average-status group members within student community and their relationships both with each other and with representatives of all status categories, are analyzed here. This book is addressed to students, graduate students, teachers of pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical universities, practical psychologists working in the education system, as well as everyone who is interested in problems of intragroup structuring and status-role relations.]
