Abstract:
The opportunity is given to reader here, so to get acquainted with A. Skrebitsky`s book of edition in1903, containing a large amount of unique information on asperities of eyeless person`s and visually impaired ones. The author, while creation of this work, followed such goals: 1) to dispel widespread society prejudices about eyeless person`s inability for own progress and honest job; 2) on basis of results, achieved in the West, to indicate ways to improve the eyeless`s financial position through their moral, intellectual and technical development; 3) to inform persons preparing for occupation of posts in schools for eyelesses ones, on the upcoming area of their activities; 4) to provide a guide for parents of such deprived children, for their upbringing and education; 5) to give interested ones the opportunity to follow in areas, where there would trace — where it will be already open — for institutes for eyeless deprived, for rational and practical their conduct, through timely removal — by own influence — any deviations from age-old developed foundations.
